Here are some common exceptions:
| # | English | Spanish (Masculine) | Spanish (Feminine) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Broken | Roto | Rota |
| 2 | Written | Escrito | Escrita |
| 3 | Done | Hecho | Hecha |

| 9 | Resolved | Resuelto | Resuelta |
| 10 | Seen | Visto | Vista |
| 11 | Returned | Vuelto | Vuelta |
| 12 | Discovered* | Descubierto | Descubierta |
*These have both a regular and an irregular form, but only the irregular one is commonly used.
📌 Tip for learners:
If the English participle ends in -en, the Spanish version is often irregular and ends in -to, -cho, or something less predictable.
